Gapferry Privacy Policy

This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version shall prevail.

Tybright ("we" or "us") respects the privacy of users of the application "Gapferry" (the "App," including both the Android app and the Windows app, Gapferry Sender) and operates in accordance with the following policy.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not collect any personal information from users. All data, including the content of files sent and received, is exchanged directly between the sending device and the receiving device and is never transmitted to any external server.

2. Account Registration

No account registration or login is required to use the App.

3. Data Transmission

The App receives files by reading a code shown on screen with the device's camera. This transfer does not go through the internet or any cloud service — it happens directly between the sending device and the receiving device. No third party, including us, has access to this data.

4. Permissions Used

The only permission the Android app uses is the camera permission needed to read the code. File selection and saving use Android's standard file picker (the Storage Access Framework), which requires the user to select a file each time — so the App never holds ongoing access to device storage. The Windows app (Gapferry Sender) requires no special permissions.

5. File Retention

The App does not retain the content of files it sends or receives once a transfer is complete. A received file is saved only to the location the user specifies, and no copy remains within the App.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

The App does not provide, sell, or share user data with any third party.

7. Contact

For questions about this policy, please contact support@tybright.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised to reflect changes in law or new features added to the App. Any revisions will be published on this page.
